Originally launched in Newport in 2023, the nursery has seen rapid success, driven by a growing demand for high-quality Welsh medium education. The Roath premises have been designed with a ‘curiosity approach’ at their heart. Rather than static classrooms, children will find various themed rooms that encourage them to explore, touch and learn through discovery.
One of the most welcoming aspects of Wibli Wobli is its inclusivity. No prior Welsh language skills are required for either the children or their parents. Instead, the nursery promotes bilingualism naturally through a play-based, immersive environment where the language becomes a seamless part of their daily routine.
While Wibli Wobli traditionally caters to children aged 0–5, the Cardiff site is introducing an exclusive offering: care for children up to the age of 7. This extended age range provides a vital “lifeline” for local families navigating the complexities of school runs and busy work schedules.
