After selling out his 17-date UK arena tour with unprecedented demand, Lewis Capaldi shows no signs of slowing down.
He’s announced his biggest ever UK and Irish headline shows for next summer, including a massive concert at Blackweir Fields on Tuesday, June 30.
Tickets for this highly anticipated event are expected to go quickly, and fans can get early access by signing up for the pre-sale, which begins on Thursday at 9am, via blackweirlive.com/lewiscapaldi.
General sale tickets will be available starting Friday at 9am via blackweirlive.com and ticketmaster.co.uk.
After a two year hiatus, Capaldi’s return has been nothing short of triumphant, captivating fans and critics alike with new songs and a setlist packed with hits. His comeback single, Survive, shot to the top of the charts, becoming his sixth UK number 1. The track was also the fastest-selling single of 2025 and had the biggest opening week sales of the year, surpassing major artists like Sabrina Carpenter and Lady Gaga. This achievement places him in the company of musical legends like Beyoncé, Drake and Queen.
His Blackweir Fields concert will also mark the return of Cardiff’s newest outdoor music venue. The venue, which launched in 2025 as a collaboration between DEPOT Live and UK promoters Cuffe and Taylor, has quickly become a premier live music hotspot. Nick Saunders, founder of DEPOT Live, shared his excitement: “What a way to announce Blackweir is back for 2026 than to reveal Lewis Capaldi as our first headliner. This is a huge show, not just for Cardiff but for Wales too… Lewis Capaldi is an absolute icon. Both he and his music is loved across the generations, and we expect tickets to fly out for what will truly be an unforgettable night in our beloved city.”
Capaldi’s comeback has been both a personal and professional triumph. Following his return to the stage at a series of Scottish warm-up shows in May, in celebration of Mental Health Awareness Week, he has demonstrated remarkable resilience. His powerful Glastonbury set was hailed as one of the cultural moments of the year, where he declared, “I just wanted to come and finish what I couldn’t finish last time.” And he has done just that, with soaring vocals and a renewed sense of purpose. He is back stronger than ever, ready to share his music and his heart with the world. his heart with the world.
