£1,000 Donation from Persimmon Homes Supports Cardiff Lord Mayor’s Charities

A generous £1,000 donation from Persimmon Homes East Wales has given a significant boost to the Lord Mayor of Cardiff’s fundraising campaign. The contribution, made through the company’s Community Champions initiative and sponsored the annual charity cricket match held at St Fagans Cricket Club.

The funds raised will benefit two charities selected by Lord Mayor Cllr Adrian Robson: Forget-me-not Chorus, which provides singing sessions for people with dementia and The Rescue Hotel, a volunteer-run group that finds homes for dogs from the Cardiff Dogs Home.

“I’m hugely grateful to Persimmon Homes for their kind donation,” said Lord Mayor Robson. “Their support helps us raise vital funds and awareness for these incredible organisations.”

Victoria Williams, Sales Director at Persimmon Homes, added that the company is “proud to support the Lord Mayor and his two fantastic charities,” emphasising their commitment to giving back to the communities where they build.
