Cefn Mably Farm: Farm Park Fun
Set in the rolling countryside between Cardiff and Newport, Cefn Mably Farm Park began in 1994 in a small field with just a few rescue animals. Over the years, the park has grown and become well known as the all-weather family attraction in South Wales. Come rain or shine, Cefn Mably Farm Park has you covered. Whether you fancy a round of crazy golf, feeding the animals or riding the train around the grounds, there’s no shortage of fun activities. The park is also now home to the biggest soft play in South Wales, perfect for little ones with bags of energy to burn off.
For all the animal lovers out there, Cefn Mably Farm is home to a large variety of friendly farm animals that are available for you to meet and interact with at any time of the year. The animals range from long-necked alpacas to hardy goats, to cloud-like sheep and friendly donkeys, alongside every farm animal in between. So, don’t forget to purchase some animal feed!
The perfect day at Cefn Mably Farm begins as you enter the indoor play barn where the children can run themselves wild and everyone else can relax with a cup of coffee and a homemade slice of cake. When the kids finally come down for a rest, it’s time to feed the array of farm animals that are grazing on the farmland, play on the diggers and unleash your competitive side by playing crazy golf on the outdoor course. Before you go, it’s imperative to ride the train around the park and wave goodbye until next time!
Throughout September and October, the farm has a handful of events arranged, including meeting Father Christmas, which runs throughout September right through to the last week in November. They also have a pumpkin patch arriving in October, so get ready to throw on your wellies and pick out your favourite pumpkin.
