Winter Wunder-Yard
From Friday the 3rd of November, Cardiff Bay’s outdoor food court, Tiger Yard, will be
transformed into a winter wonderland, ‘Winter Wunder-Yard’. The popular shipping
container-based venue, which opened earlier this year, has been made
winter-weather-ready, with the addition of cosy patio heaters and extra cover from the
elements. The addition of 10 lanes of ‘dry ice curling’ is also set to ramp up the festive fun.
Traders gearing up for a season at the Winter Wunder-Yard include Dirty Bird, Fire & Flank,
Terry’s Taco’s and Meating Point, all of whom have announced the seasonal specials which
will be coming to their menus over the coming weeks!

Cardiff Dragons City Launch
Cardiff Dragons embark on an exciting upcoming 2024 season with an official city launch
event held at the historical Undercroft of Cardiff Castle. During the event, Vicki Sutton, CEO,
reminded guests of the rise of women’s sport and passionately stated “We are about to take
off on a very fast train, come with us, don’t get left at the station”. The City Launch has set
the tone for the incoming Netball Super League season and we look forward to supporting
their upcoming pre-season friendly on the 16th of December.

Katherine Jenkins Brings Gin To Town
In celebration of Cygnet Gin’s launch in John Lewis and Waitrose stores this October,
founder Katherine Jenkins OBE offered an exclusive bottle signing and gin tasting at John
Lewis Cardiff. Guests and members of the public were welcomed to join Katherine in her
celebrations of this nationwide launch.

US Rapper 50 Cent Sponsors Welsh Under-14 Girls’ Football Team
Award-winning global rap sensation 50 Cent has recently backed the under-14 girls’ team at
AFC Rumney in Cardiff, joining a growing list of Hollywood stars supporting Welsh teams.
As part of the sponsorship, The AFC Rumney’s girls side were given new away kit and club
tracksuits.

Ready, Set, Shuffle
Par 59, renowned St Mary Street bar, restaurant and mini-golf hotspot, proudly backed by
football icon Gareth Bale, is set to double its capacity with the grand opening of a thrilling
upstairs bar and games room, aptly named ‘Shuffles.’ The slick new upstairs bar & games
room is due to open its doors on Friday, November 10th 2023.
