Bru, the beloved speciality coffee brand, is excited to announce the opening of its second city centre location on Cardiff’s bustling Queen Street. This new addition marks a significant milestone for the brand, renowned for its dedication to serving the finest 100% speciality Arabica coffee, and introduces a delicious new artisan brunch menu alongside its range of decadent desserts.

In addition to its high-quality coffee offerings, Bru’s Queen Street location is proud to present an exclusive Bara Brith Gelato, a unique twist on the traditional Welsh favourite that’s set to become a customer favourite. The new store is designed to offer a welcoming, vibrant space where coffee lovers and food enthusiasts can gather, enjoy expertly crafted beverages, and indulge in mouth-watering treats.

The store’s opening follows the restoration of an iconic city centre building, blending modern style with the building’s historic character. The design features a distinctive palette of colours that pay homage to the building’s heritage, creating a unique environment that feels both contemporary and steeped in Cardiff’s rich architectural history.

The team are looking forward to meeting customers

Bru’s expansion into this central location has also created 20 new local jobs, with a team dedicated to delivering the exceptional Bru experience that customers have come to love. The new venue will provide a space for locals and visitors alike to enjoy freshly ground, barista-made coffee, creative brunch options, and a friendly atmosphere.

“We’re thrilled to be opening our second city centre location here on Queen Street,” said Noman Qaisar, local boy and director of Bru Cardiff. “Cardiff has always been incredibly supportive of Bru, and this new store allows us to continue our mission of bringing high-quality coffee, delicious food, and a welcoming space to our wonderful community.  We’re incredibly proud to have revitalised a historic building that, ironically, I worked in when I was younger, all while generating new jobs and contributing to the vibrancy of Cardiff’s city centre.”

Bru Cardiff Queen Street is now open and ready to welcome guests. Visit the new location for a cup of the finest Arabica coffee, some Artisan Brunch, or just to try the one-of-a-kind Bara Brith Gelato.
