The Grazing Shed, one of Cardiff’s most celebrated burger restaurants, has announced the closure of its Barrack Lane site after 11 years of serving its iconic “Super Tidy Burgers.” The doors will officially close on January 26, 2025.

In a statement, The Grazing Shed shared:

“It’s with a heavy heart that we must announce the closure of our Barrack Lane site. This decision has been incredibly difficult and one that we’ve not taken lightly.”

The Grazing Shed has been a staple in Cardiff’s food scene, offering a menu of mouth-watering chicken and beef burgers, and crispy fries. The closure marks the end of an era for their city-centre location. However, this isn’t goodbye for good. The team reassured fans that they’ll still be serving their much-loved burgers at festivals and events across Wales. They added:

“While Barrack Lane will be closing its doors, we will continue to serve our burgers at festivals and events. This isn’t goodbye, but a farewell to our site in the city.”

The Grazing Shed also expressed deep gratitude to its loyal customers and hardworking team, saying:

“We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you that has visited Barrack Lane over the last 11 years. We would also like to say a huge thank you to our team who have been the backbone of our business, and we are super proud of what we have achieved together.”

Although Cardiff will miss its central location, fans can still look forward to enjoying The Grazing Shed’s delicious offerings at future events. Stay tuned for updates on where they’ll pop up next.
