British astronaut Tim Peake is set to captivate audiences in Cardiff once again with his acclaimed show, My Journey to Space. Scheduled for October 6, 2025, at the New Theatre, this event offers a unique glimpse into Peake’s extraordinary experiences aboard the International Space Station (ISS).
Peake, who made history in December 2015 as the first British astronaut to visit the ISS, has been sharing his space adventures through this engaging tour. Reflecting on his mission, he remarked:
“I will always be mesmerised by space and space travel, but I am just as honoured to be able to travel the country sharing my story and experiences.”
The My Journey to Space tour provides attendees with an intimate look at life in orbit, featuring breathtaking photographs and never-before-seen footage. Peake guides the audience through the rigorous training, the thrill of launch, the challenges of spacewalks, and the complexities of re-entry. As he describes, it’s “a fascinating insight into what it’s like to be an astronaut; from training to launch, spacewalk to re-entry.”
This isn’t Peake’s first visit to Cardiff. In October 2016, he inspired over 200 Welsh schoolchildren at Techniquest in Cardiff Bay, sharing anecdotes from his six-month Principia mission. During that visit, he expressed being “extremely touched” by the public’s support and enthusiasm.
